Monument Hill Church is a mission minded church. We provide financial support for missionaries and their families through the co-operative programs of the Southern Baptist Convention. We encourage members of our congregation to participate in short term mission trips that we are often involved in. We also encourage our youth groups to participate in mission opportunities as a group to spread the gospel and minister to people domestically and in foreign lands.
We have supported local missions and foreign missions, including building new church facilities, VBS and eyeglasses ministry, as well as support to other churches. Currently we support Helping Hands (food and clothing bank for church members and community); new church start – Genesis Church in Castle Rock; Ryan Reeves working with Campus Crusades; two multi-housing projects in Colorado Springs; and Palmer Lake Mobile Home Community Outreach providing tutoring to low-income children. The Cercadillo Project in the Dominican Republic began after a mission trip to build a facility to hold worship services; financial support provided a well for drinking water. MHC takes part in various activities supporting these ministries financially, physically and spiritually.
