We....

            Glorify God

In all that we are and in all that we do, we seek to bring glory to God. This is what we were created for; longing to know Him approaching His throne, thirsting for His presence and power in our lives, and opening our hearts in loving obedience.

 

I Corinthians 10:31 “……whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

             Connect to Christ

Only when we are connected to the source, Jesus Christ – through a personal relationship, prayer and Bible study-  are we able to do anything of lasting significance for and with God.

                       

John 15:5 “I AM the vine, you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me, you can do nothing.”

             Follow the Holy Spirit

All we are and have is given to us by God as a gift and a responsibility. Guided by the Holy Spirit we surrender everything to Him.

                       

Romans 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship.” (NIV)

So that we are....

            Bound One to Another

Because of God’s great love for us we respond by loving, encouraging and sharing our lives with each other in unity of heart, mind and purpose.

 

Romans 12:10, 13 “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.”

             Nurturing One Another 

We nurture one another with God’s Word as our textbook and the Holy Spirit as our guide; training, educating and equipping each other to fulfill God’s perfect will through His people, the church.

 

II Timothy 3:16-17  “All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

             Passionately Sharing with Others

All People matter to God. We long to share the good news with everyone, using our spiritual gifts to reach our community and our world through service, mission activity, and beginning new churches.

 

Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
